For the Uncanny, Unexpected, and Unusual
For the Uncanny, Unexpected & Unusual
Spooky Doings Social Club is an 18+ gathering place for people who enjoy the uncanny, the unexpected, and the strange. We bring together artists, makers, event organizers, paranormal enthusiasts, oddballs, curious minds, and anyone else who feels a little more at home on the weird side of things.
From dark art and macabre craft nights to strange talks, paranormal open mics, vendor spotlights, demonstrations, and community gatherings, if it raises your hackles or gives your heebie-jeebies the jeebies, it’s probably fair game.

Spooky Doings Social Club
You don’t have to be an artist, paranormal investigator, horror expert, or lifelong goth. Curiosity is enough.
Spooky Doings Social Club is built around a simple idea: people with unusual interests deserve a place to find one another. Our monthly gatherings are meant to be welcoming, low-pressure spaces where you can meet people, discover local makers and organizations, learn something strange, make something creepy, or simply spend an evening with people who get it.

Something Strange Is Happening in Lowell….
Lowell has always been a city built on stories. Its mills, canals, historic neighborhoods, immigrant communities, old buildings, creative spaces, and long history give it a character unlike anywhere else in New England.
With Salem just down the road and a thriving community of artists and independent organizers already here, we believe Lowell has the ingredients to become a destination for people interested in dark art, folklore, paranormal culture, alternative events, and the wonderfully unusual.
Spooky Doings exists to help bring those people, places, and ideas together while supporting the local economy and the people already making Lowell interesting.
Made in the Shadows of Lowell
Spooky Doings is about more than hosting our own events. We want to shine a light — preferably a flickering candle — on the artists, makers, venues, organizations, historians, event planners, and small businesses helping build Lowell’s strange little ecosystem.

Help Keep Lowell Weird
Spooky Doings is built around community participation, collaboration, and the belief that strange ideas deserve somewhere to grow.
Your support helps us create gatherings, promote local makers, develop new programming, collaborate with community organizations, and continue building a home for Lowell’s wonderfully unusual community.
